Executive Summary

The landfill gas (LFG) plant at Getlini near Riga (with approximately 800,000 inhabitants) is the largest landfill in Latvia.

The landfill gas project at Liepaja (with approximately 100,000 inhabitants) with the existing and the new landfill sites (Grobina is not still in operation).
