of two existing cases (Chile and Brazil)
and two emerging experiences (Mexico
and Uruguay) in LAC, two emerging
cases in Latvia, and two existing
North American cases (Ontario and
Delaware). The documentation of existing
experiences would focus on best practice
for LFG recovery and utilization projects,

arrangements and private sector participation,
institutional roles, minimum regulatory
requirements and incentives in the
energy, environment and urban sectors,
and technical issues (planning, design,

- Handbook: Drafting, review and revision
of a "handbook" for the
preparation of LFG-to-energy projects.

and would assemble representatives
of public and private sector, stakeholders
from the identified target countries,
along with operators and experts from

discussions on the subject matter.
The workshop will also serve to create
a knowledge network on LFG.
Component 4

on LFG capture and utilization systems
and corresponding topics will be implemented.
